Photographs And Information about Bena Township in South Gippsland
How To Get To Bena – From Melbourne, take the South Gippsland Highway where you’ll drive past the Loch by-pass before you get to the Bena turnoff. From the Foster end of the South Gippsland Highway you will drive through Meeniyan, Leongatha and Korumburra before you reach Bena.
About The Town
The Bena Township– With few facilities, the tiny town of Bena lies amongst lush, rolling farmland between Loch, and Korumburra in Victoria. What once was a busy highway through the centre of town is now a very quiet street since the town by-pass was completed in 2008. The Real Estate values in Bena are still quite affordable especially for those who want to live within easy commuting distance from Melbourne.
Shops And Facilities At Bena
Besides the tourist railway, bus stop, a small children’s playground, the old Bena Presbyterian Church, tennis courts, the Bena Town Hall and a couple local small businesses, there really isn’t much else.
