RACV Resort Inverloch

About The Racv Resort - This delightful, eco-friendly resort is situated only 5 minutes from the popular coastal town of Inverloch and right across the road from the Bunurong Marine And Coastal Park. Twenty Six of the rooms have ocean views, and the Caravan Park, which is also part of this 32 hectare development, has really spacious sites and a lovely sense of privacy. The development has been said to have cost something in the vicinity of $35 million dollars and the land alone, with it's great ocean views will be priceless in years to come.

Resort Facilities - There is an aquatic centre, putting green, oval, playground, games room, 2 tennis courts, a gymnasium and sauna, bistro, outdoor dining area for the warmer months, a restaurant and conference venue. As well as the ocean view rooms, families and groups can make use of the 10 self-contained two and three bedroom villas, with fully equipped kitchens and large screen televisions. The Caravan Park sites are spacious and I've read, that private modern ensuites are also available. The Racv Resort is in a constant state of well managed development, with more villas being built to accommodate the growing demand for affordable luxury get-aways and holiday destinations.

Eco-Friendly Development -  Situated high above the water with magnificent views of the Bass Coast and Anderson’s Inlet, this charming resort has been thoughtfully integrated into the natural landscape. Over 50,000 indigenous trees have been planted around the site and special wetlands have been nurtured to provide habitat for birds and aquatic life. The day I took these photos, there were numerous bird species close by the lagoon and other creatures were spied seeking haven in the reeds and rushes. The entire resort is designed to sit comfortably in the natural landscape and as time goes by, the native trees and shrubs will soften the shape of the buildings even more.

The Lagoon And Walkways - The walking tracks are well set out and it's only a short stroll across to the Bunurong Marine and Coastal Park and the beach, where you can enjoy fishing, diving, surfing, swimming, boating, bush walking or exploring the caves and rock pools. Only a short drive away are wineries, a golf course, markets, fine shops, art and craft galleries and other nature trails and tourist facilities. There are so many things to do in this delightful holiday spot. But if you still want more, as added attractions, Phillip Island and Wilson’s Promontory are a comfortable drive away..
