Go Bike Riding On The Great Southern Rail Trail:

Prom Country Bike Hire - Bicycles for hire $20 a day. Tandems available (suitable for the vision impaired) $40 a day. Tagalongs and baby seats available $15. Helmets included. Depots at Meeniyan and Foster which means you only have to ride the rail trail one way.

The Rail Trail is situated on the old disused railway line that has been put to good use by making it a walking/riding trail suitable for all ages to use.

An excellent track with toilet facilities at Foster, Fish Creek, Meeniyan, Koonwarra, Stony Creek and Leongatha.

Stop and have something to eat and drink at any of the Pit Stop Cafe in Meeniyan, along the way.

In some spots along the trail you can see views of Wilson's Prom and Corner Inlet. Natural flora lines the trail for much of it's journey and provides a haven in summer and privacy in the winter months.

Visit The Stony Creek Races:

Stony Creek Racing Club - You'll find this great country racecourse situated only 35 minutes drive away from Wilsons Promontory National Park. To get there from Melbourne, travel along the South Gippsland Highway, past Korrumburra and Leongatha. Once you get to Meeniyan it is only a couple kilometers past the township and to your right.

Stony Creek Racing Club offers a picturesque country racecourse with a relaxed atmosphere and environment.

The club's race meetings are always extremely well attended and provide families with a great day out. Some  even specifically cater for children and provide a variety of free activities such as jumping castles, face painting and more.

Racing predominately in the summer, the club offers free admission for all children 16 and under. Bring along a picnic basket or buy your afternoon tea in the pavilion. Becoming a member gives you access to exclusive areas and other facilities not available to the general public and is very affordably priced.
